Our project is aimed at creating a cosy knitting community where we relax, talk, knit and expand our international network. We promote sustainability by learning a lifetime skill of making your own clothes.
Anyone can join the knitting circle including degree and exchange students, researchers, staff members and international spouses/partners. We will teach you the basics of knitting if needed.
The Knitting circle started in autumn 2022 and was part of the OYY wellbeing tutoring. Materials were funded by Talent Boost.

You can always join us with your own knitting project without any notice.
We have some yarn that you can get for free to do a small project at the knitting circle. If you want to use the free yarn and needles for your project you need to just come to the knitting circle and let us know. Please note that there is a limited amount of needles and yarn! Please, make sure you agree with the rules of yarn usage beforehand.
